Consultancy for IT Professionals

This course is for the technically adept IT professional who is looking to take on a more client-facing role. It will equip the student with a complete understanding of the consultancy lifecycle.

It is aimed at the following roles: existing Consultants, Technical Experts, Engineers, Developers, Pod Leads, Agile Practitioners, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Business Change Managers, amongst others.

Students will gain a clear understanding of the tools and techniques needed throughout the consultancy lifecycle as well as the activities undertaken in each stage and their significance in the overall delivery of the assignment.

This includes scoping and proposing an assignment, through to structuring, planning and how to develop new opportunities, as well as customer account management.

Students will learn skills to deal with difficult client issues, to plan and manage client relationships effectively, as well as how to be clear, consistent and assertive in communication.
