I used Amatis Training to complete the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis. I chose the self study route and the training materials provided were excellent. The material was structured into modules so it was easy to break the learning down into manageable sections. Having the app was also great as it meant I could access the course whenever I needed. The sample papers were incredibly invaluable as they helped me get a feel of how questions could be asked and the importance of reading the question properly! There was no pressure either on when to take the exam and although there will never be a perfect time to take an exam I was able to choose when from a list of options. I was slightly nervous coming onto this training course, having only just secured a role in Business Analysis, and thought I may not understand some of the material. I was looking for a training provider for the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis to support my transition from Project Management to focus on Business Analysis and found Amatis via a google and LinkedIn search. I took the self study option utilising the training app and mock exams to prepare me for the actual exam. The materials are well structured, focusing on the appropriate level of required knowledge to sit the exam and the revision mind map is a brilliant reference. There was support available throughout my study and I was always impressed by response times, especially as I was studying out of hours. Self study in general does require a lot of self discipline but the course gave me what I needed to structure my learning and ultimately pass my exam in time for my new BA role.
