The BCS Professional Certificate in Data Analysis covers the key principles, concepts and techniques for identifying, analysing and modelling data.

This certification helps you define data requirements with clarity and precision.

Candidates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of:

• Conceptual modelling
• Modelling data using class diagrams
• Generalisation, specialisation and sub-types

Day 2:

• Defining data requirements
• Validation techniques
• Analysing data for decision-making
• Protecting data
• Run through mock exam
• Optional BCS Exam (can be deferred)

The live BCS exam:

• is included as part of the course
• is 90 minutes, closed-book assessment with 40 multiple-choice questions, requiring a pass mark of 26/40, 65%
• can be taken on the final day of the course or deferred to when you feel ready
• is taken from your location
• results are available immediately

Note:

• Candidates whose natural language is not English are eligible for an extra 15 minutes
• Candidates requiring reasonable adjustments due to a disability can also apply for additional time

The BCS Advanced International Diploma in Business Analysis demonstrates a high level of proficiency and offers specialisations in the field of business analysis.

To attain the Advanced Diploma delegates must:

• Have 5 years’ business analysis experience
• Hold the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis
• Hold 4 Professional level certificates in the People, Business and Analytical skills specialisms, see below
• Provide a written submission (£585 + VAT) with evidence demonstrating core and specialist skills and contribution to the BA profession
