This workshop prepares candidates for the BCS Oral Exam and is open to those who have passed all four required modules.

Course overview +

This workshop is invaluable when it comes to exam revision/technique and includes:

  • What to expect on the day
  • A run through of the entire syllabus – covering every bullet point, looking at what the examiner is expecting from the candidate
  • A video explaining how to apply the Business Analysis Practice techniques in various business situations
  • Sample questions on every bullet point in the syllabus
  • Revision mind maps for BAP, RE and MBP
  • Six BCS sample exam papers for extra revision covering BAP, RE and MBP

The workshop will be led by one of our BCS examiners, each with over 15 years experience in the exam room.

Candidates will learn a structured approach to answer exam-style questions, focusing on:

  • Understanding question types and how to approach them
  • Practising structured responses to clearly demonstrate business analysis principles
  • Applying practical techniques to answer questions accurately

By the end of the workshop, candidates will have a clear strategy for the oral exam, ensuring they can respond with precision, clarity and confidence.

The Oral Prep workshop prepares candidates for the BCS Oral Exam – there is no exam at the end of the workshop.

Candidates can elect to sit a mock Oral Exam with an experienced BCS examiner. The mock exam takes 45 minutes with a 15-minute feedback session — book your mock exam here.

5 Feb 2024: I am training from overseas and Amatis' online system really helps. I've been using both their website version (on my desktop) and Android version (on my phone) while commuting. The course materials for my BCS certification training are professionally prepared. Nice and easy to learn online using the software. You can also use the mobile app which is really handy. The content is in bite-sized pieces and there is audio available too. I like to use a mixture of the 2 or have the audio on when I'm reading, I find it helps me concentrate. There is an exam slot available every week which you can take when you are ready, so you can really go at your own pace. The module learning checkpoints and sample papers are really good to practice for the exam. Support and response times of the team are also really speedy!
